Whether you’re organizing a small meeting or a large-scale event, this session will provide you with the foundational skills and knowledge needed to execute your vision effectively.

Tracy Reese, event coordination department head, UGA Center for Continuing Education & Hotel
Tracy joined the Georgia Center in 2023 bringing a wealth of experience from her career in nonprofit and corporate events, as well as overseeing operations at a large conference center. She has a strong background in luxury hotels and resorts, where she collaborated with renowned brands to deliver exceptional client and guest experiences. Her expertise lies in managing large-scale events and ensuring seamless operations, with a focus on personalized service and attention to detail. Tracy earned her degree from the University of Central Florida’s Rosen College of Hospitality Management in Orlando.
KT Cooke, director of sales and event management, UGA Center for Continuing Education & Hotel
KT joined the Georgia Center in 2021. In her role, she leads the Georgia Center’s sales and event management team, delivering exceptional experiences for clients and guests. Additionally, she oversees the Hospitality and Food Industry Management Internship Program, providing students with valuable hands-on experience across various facets of the hospitality sector. With over 20 years of experience in hospitality, KT brings unparalleled expertise in large-scale event planning and premium hospitality services. KT holds a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) and a JD from Mississippi College School of Law.
