Georgia Optometric Association Fall Education Conference
More CE Hours, Same Low Price! Twenty and a half (20.5) Credit Hours will be offered this year inclusive of eighteen (18) COPE-Accredited hours plus one (1) hour of Georgia Laws and Rules plus and additional ninety minutes (1.5) hours for a special Coordination of Benefits/Billing and Coding lecture you won’t want to miss. Both the Georgia Laws and the Coordination of Benefits lectures are Georgia State Board Approved for re-licensure. Additionally, an exhibit hall with over 45 vendors will be on-site.
Classes begin Friday, afternoon, October 25, 2024. To obtain total number of hours offered you must attend all classes offered Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Classes will conclude earlier on Sunday. One day registration is available for either Friday, Saturday or Sunday. One low conference fee covers CE registration, access to online registration materials, (2) Buffet Breakfast, (2) lunch, and daily, AM/PM Breaks and hospitality reception.
Significant reduction in the conference fee for early registration (fee paid) on or before September 20, 2024. To qualify for GOA Member rate, you must be a member in good standing and/or submit application for membership and pay in full the prorated dues for the remainder of 2024.
The UGA Center for Continuing Education & Hotel registration desk will be open a minimum of 30 minutes prior to the first lecture of each day and will remain open until the last lecture of the day begins.
Valid name badges will serve as tickets to the conference and must be worn by attendees for admission in the lecture hall. Entrance and Exit of course attendees will be monitored to meet State Board regulations and COPE requirements.
Attendees may only be absent from any class for a maximum of 10 minutes per hour of lecture. If an attendee must leave during a lecture and is absent for more than 10 minutes, he/she will not receive credit for that course but will be allowed back into the lecture hall.
We strongly encourage attendees to download the OE Tracker Mobile App. Scanning the QR Codes at the conclusion of each course will allow for immediate credit reporting. Additionally, the ARBO OE Tracker Card Scanning System and CE Cards will be available.
